Jerald Harris Flies To Fast Friday Final
Jerald Harris started the night with a heat win and then showed the early speed was no fluke by going to the front and staying there. Bill Rice had won the first heat and was outside of Glenn Worrell for the feature as the green flag waved. Worrell was away first with his low line as Rice stayed up high and was keeping on the pressure. On lap five Jerald Harris had made his way to second and was on a rail to the lead three laps later. Harris was trying to check out as Troy Severin made his way to second and Brian Lawson got to third as few laps later. The laps were going by as the back of the field was now in play for the leaders but Jerald Harris would stay strong with Troy Severin only able to get close before the checkered flag waved. At the line it was Jerald Harris, Troy Severin, Brian Lawson, Tom Humphries, Bill Rice, Daren Bolac, Glenn Worrell, Charlie Ware, Anthony Linkenhoker, Chris Ware, JD Coats, Tony Harris, Josh Perreault and James Snead. Next week its back to Shenandoah Speedway before the IMCA RaceSaver Nationals break on Saturday Night August 20th.
