2016 RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Nationals BIGGER AND BETTER
RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Nationals Purse has increased again!
One of the Nation’s biggest sprint car events is getting even bigger. RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Nationals will once again be hosted at Eagle Raceway in 2016. September 1st will be practice and pre-technical inspection. September 2nd-4th will be separate shows again with the top nine from Friday and Saturday’s events locking themselves into the Big Dance on Sunday. The top nine from Sunday’s last chance races will also qualify. 27 cars will once again start 3 wide on the highbanks. Friday and Saturday’s features will pay the same amount, $700 to win and $250 to start. However another big increase in purse has been decided on for Sunday’s Big Dance. In 2015 the Feature event purse alone totaled $33, 600 with $2,000 to win and $1,000 just to start the main event. In 2016, the main event purse totals $46,700 with $2,500 to win and $1,250 to start! Non-qualifiers on Sunday will also still receive a minimum of $250. We will be doing the non-qualifier sponsorships again this year and hope to raise twice as much money and contingencies as last year.
